Acura unveiled the pricing for its inaugural all-electric model, the highly awaited 2024 Acura ZDX, with a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)1 of $64,500 for the well-equipped ZDX A-Spec featuring a single-motor (rear-wheel-drive) powertrain. This performance SUV will hit Acura dealerships this spring, boasting dynamic design, top-tier technology, and efficient charging solutions.
The high-performance ZDX Type S, the most potent Acura SUV to date, comes with a dual-motor AWD powertrain tuned for performance, with an initial MSRP of $73,500. Pricing does not account for any governmental incentives or tax credits available to buyers and lessees. All Acura ZDX sales will be managed through a new, comprehensive digital sales process, ensuring a smooth and intuitive shopping experience online or at an Acura dealership. Customers can customize and reserve their new ZDX on the website at www.acura.com/reservezdx. ZDX reservation holders will also receive an exclusive Acura Energy Key Card offering benefits like discounts at Acura entertainment partners and special events.

The ZDX is also the first Acura model to offer the immersive Bang & Olufsen luxury audio system, which will be extended to the entire Acura lineup with MDX.

All-Electric Acura Performance
Based on a state-of-the-art electric vehicle platform with a low center of gravity and almost equal weight distribution, the 2024 Acura ZDX is an electric performance SUV that upholds Acura’s Precision Crafted Performance legacy. The rear-wheel-drive ZDX A-Spec is driven by a 342-horsepower rear-mounted single motor. The ZDX A-Spec is also available in a more powerful dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup. Acura engineers have fine-tuned the ZDX’s multi-link front and rear suspension to offer a premium driving experience with thrilling performance and best-in-class refinement.
Recharging while on the move is fast and convenient with DC Fast Charging at speeds of up to 190 kW. With DC Fast Charging, the 102-kWh lithium-ion battery pack in the ZDX A-Spec rear-wheel drive can provide an estimated 81 miles of range2 in approximately 10 minutes to minimize downtime for customers.
ZDX Type S Boasts an Estimated 500 Horsepower
Following Acura’s tradition of high-performance Type S models, the ZDX Type S elevates every aspect of the performance driving experience, from acceleration, braking to cornering, without compromising on comfort, refinement, or daily usability. The ZDX Type S defines Acura’s performance ethos in the electric age with an estimated 500 horsepower, an adjustable air suspension, performance-tuned adaptive dampers, and massive 15.6-inch Brembo™ front brakes with striking 6-piston yellow calipers. Drivers can personalize their driving experience with various drive modes, including a Sport mode for maximum acceleration and responsiveness.
The athletic appearance and proportions of the ZDX are enhanced in the Type S model with 22-inch machine-finished wheels, the largest ever seen on an Acura vehicle, and wider 275/40ZR22 self-sealing tires. The Type S variant also offers high-performance summer tires paired with a gloss-black wheel, further enhancing its performance capabilities.
Comprehensive Charging Solutions
Acura offers ZDX customers an extensive range of top-of-the-line charging solutions both at home and on the road, including access to major public fast-charging networks like Tesla Supercharger stations, EVgo, and Electrify America, along with their roaming partners. The ZDX is equipped with a Combined Charging System (CCS) port and is compatible with the North American Charging Standard (NACS).
Upon purchasing or leasing a new Acura ZDX or ZDX Type S, customers can choose from three charging packages included in the MSRP. Acura provides a mix of public charging credits, charging equipment, and installation credit tailored to each buyer’s preferences.

Acura provides ZDX and ZDX Type S customers with credits across multiple networks in the United States.
- Each optional charging package includes charging credits with EVgo and its partner networks, offering ZDX owners more convenient charging options. These credits range from $100 for customers selecting a Level 2 Home Charging Station and $500 installation credit, to $300 for a Level 1/Level 2 Portable Charging Kit and a $250 installation credit, up to $750 for owners prioritizing public charging.
- Customers can redeem the installation credit through the Acura Home Electrification (AHE) marketplace, gaining access to a network of professional local installers and expert Energy Advisors for guidance on installation, rebates, incentives, and other home electrification products.
- First-time Acura EV owners receive 60kWh of complimentary public charging from Electrify America as part of any available charging package.
With the Acura EV® smartphone app, ZDX owners can locate charging stations, pay for charging, utilize credits, enroll in subscription plans, and access additional features at EVgo and Electrify America stations, as well as their partner networks.
