Imelda Labbé, Board Member overseeing Sales, Marketing, and After Sales, expressed satisfaction with the solid sales performance in 2022 despite ongoing challenges with the supply chain. The significant increase in sales of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models reaffirms Volkswagen’s position as a leading brand in sustainable mobility, thanks to its appealing product lineup. The company’s ACCELERATE strategy aims to intensify its electric vehicle efforts by introducing ten new electric models by 2026. Volkswagen already boasts the widest range of electric vehicles on the market and plans to have a suitable product for every segment by 2026, including an entry-level e-car priced below €25,000 and the new flagship ID.7 model.
