The Acura team had a strong performance at Watkins Glen but faced challenges towards the end of the race. Despite a promising start that hinted at a potential double podium finish, the Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti pair of Acura ARX-06s finished fourth and tenth in the final standings.
Louis Delétraz secured pole position in the #40 Acura and handed over to Jordan Taylor during the race, who had to navigate tricky weather conditions with changing rainstorms. Despite the challenging conditions, the team stuck to their strategy, with Delétraz eventually finishing in fourth place after the final stint.
The #10 Acura, driven by Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque, showed strong pace and even led laps during the race. However, a mechanical failure, possibly caused by contact during the battle for the lead, forced them to retire and settle for tenth place.
In the GTD class, Gradient Racing faced early speed, but encountered a clutch problem mid-race. Despite the challenges, the #66 Acura NSX GT3 Evo team persevered and finished in 13th place after receiving penalties towards the end.
