Five Honda models and three Acura models have been recognized with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK (TSP) rating or higher for the year 2024, with four attaining the highest TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TSP+) rating. To contribute to these accolades, each of the eight models received a top GOOD rating in the institute’s demanding updated side crash test, which involves 82 percent more crash energy compared to the original test.
