The 2025 BMW X3 introduces significant improvements in efficiency and dynamic performance for both the 4-cylinder and high-performance 6-cylinder variants, along with a change in model designations. Previously using the letter “i” to indicate fuel injection, the models will now be named BMW X3 30 xDrive and BMW X3 M50 xDrive. The letter “i” will be reserved for all-electric BMW models going forward.
The modernity and enhanced product substance of the all-new 2025 BMW X3 lay the foundation for a new chapter in its success story. As the pioneer of the SAV segment in the premium midsize class, the BMW X3 has played a key role in the popularity of the BMW X models and became the brand’s best-selling model in 2023. The production of the new BMW X3 for the Canadian market will take place at the BMW Group Plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, focusing on resource conservation and circularity. The market launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.

The new design language of the fourth-generation BMW X3 emphasizes its monolithic appearance with distinctive proportions typical of BMW X models. Its generously proportioned surfaces and minimalistic lines give the exterior design a sleek and structured overall look. The new BMW X3 is longer and wider than its predecessor, enhancing its powerful and athletic stance. The large BMW kidney grille in the front end, featuring a new internal structure with vertical and diagonal bars, exudes a strong presence. The illuminated kidney grille, available on the X3 M50 xDrive and as an option on the X3 30 xDrive, adds a unique touch. The LED headlights feature L-shaped light sources for daytime running lights, side marker lights, and turn signal indicators. The rear of the vehicle sports bold side skirts, a distinctive roofline, and modern rear lights with a fresh T-shaped graphic.
A variety of paint colors are available for the new X3 models, including solid, metallic, and frozen finishes, with the option for exclusive BMW Individual paints. The X3 30 xDrive comes with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with optional 20-inch and 21-inch packages. The M Sport Package adds a dynamic look with features like 20-inch M alloy wheels, M Sport brakes, and variable sport steering.

The interior of the new BMW X3 combines robust SAV functionality with a premium ambiance and spaciousness. The cockpit features the BMW Curved Display, BMW Interaction Bar, and steering wheels with flat-bottomed rims, all designed for a driver-focused experience. The cabin offers plenty of space and versatility, with the ability to increase luggage space by folding the rear seats. The new X3 is equipped with electrically adjustable heated sport seats in a choice of materials and colors. Innovative materials like recycled polyester fabric coverings add a touch of sustainability to the interior.

The BMW X3 M50 xDrive is built for an exhilarating driving experience, featuring an upgraded inline 6-cylinder engine with exceptional power delivery, rev capacity, and efficiency.
