This year, Porsche has decided to allocate the entire donation to three charitable initiatives. The organizations Kinderherzen retten (Save Children’s Hearts) and Interplast Germany will each receive 350,000 euros, while the Ferry Porsche Foundation will be granted 211,000 euros to support sick children and their families.
Support for three non-profit initiatives
Michael Steiner, Member of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, Research and Development, reflected on the success of the “Racing for Charity” initiative in 2023 and highlighted the importance of upholding social responsibility in motorsport. He emphasized Porsche’s commitment to supporting Kinderherzen retten e.V., Interplast Germany e.V., and the Ferry Porsche Foundation, allowing them to continue their essential work. Steiner acknowledged that while motorsport is integral to Porsche’s brand, it is the people and their well-being that truly matter.
Porsche’s dedication to social responsibility extends beyond motorsport, emphasizing sustainable projects in various sectors to enhance the quality of life. In 2023, Porsche contributed to over 150 sponsorship projects globally, reinforcing its commitment to making a positive impact.

Sustainably improving quality of life
Prof. Friedhelm Beyersdorf, Founder of Kinderherzen retten e.V., expressed gratitude for Porsche’s ongoing support through the “Racing for Charity” initiative. The donations enable life-saving cardio-surgical procedures for children in need, providing them with a chance for a healthy future at the University Hospital in Freiburg.
Prof. Jürgen Dolderer, Board Member of Interplast Germany e. V., expressed appreciation for Porsche’s support, enabling transformative medical interventions through reconstructive plastic surgery in developing nations. The aim is to offer underprivileged children a brighter future and improved quality of life through sustainable missions across Africa, South America, and Asia.
Sebastian Rudolph, Chairman of the Board of the Ferry Porsche Foundation, shared his delight in participating once again in the “Racing for Charity” initiative. The foundation’s goal is to bring relief and hope to families with seriously ill children, offering moments of joy and relaxation despite their challenging circumstances, thanks to Porsche’s generous donation.
With the donations from the 2023 “Racing for Charity,” Kinderherzen retten e.V. facilitated life-saving heart surgeries for twelve young individuals from various countries, while Interplast Germany e.V. conducted medical missions in regions like Tanzania and Mozambique. The Ferry Porsche Foundation extended support to numerous families dealing with serious illnesses.
